VaniDevi is Suzy Krauer. Her spiritual name is ‘Madhur Vani Devi’, which means ‘sweet voice’ – derived from her deep love of music. Vani has been working for a major record label for two decades next to teaching Hatha – restorative and Vinyasa Yoga in Zürich since 2011.
VaniDevi discovered Yoga after a severe back injury in the mid 90’s as an all-healing therapy. As a result, she could live pain-free and stable again – even increase body tension and improve her posture.
In Yoga, VaniDevi found the balm for the mind, body and soul. She felt the urge to pass on this wonderful experience of life and completed her first teacher training, a 2-year study at Yoga Vidya in the tradition of Swami Sivananda.
VaniDevi continued to deepen her practice, learning from various teachers such as Stephen Thomas, Christine May, Julie Martin, Ragunath, Jodi Boone, and Sripad Sadhu Maharaj.
VaniDevi: “Passing on Yoga is my life’s work. A heart-opening powerhouse that gives me a deep meaning in life. “
Her classes are suitable for all levels and including not only classical Hatha Yoga but also restorative sequences, Vinyasa flows and aspects of Bhakti Yoga.
